Pennsylvania does not issue a state license for mold remediation contractors. Gettysburg Mold Remediation Pros is registered under the Pennsylvania Home Improvement Consumer Protection Act (HICPA) and is insured. Our process follows the IICRC S520 Standard for Professional Mold Remediation and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) mold guidance.

3. Service Agreements
All mold remediation, water damage, and related work is governed by a written service agreement signed by both parties before work starts. Each agreement includes:
- A detailed scope of work, including the areas to be contained and the materials to be removed or cleaned
- The total price and payment schedule
- Estimated start and completion dates
- A change order procedure if hidden mold or damage is found during the work
- How the work area will be checked before containment is removed
No verbal agreement, estimate, or conversation creates a binding obligation until a written agreement is signed by an authorized representative of Gettysburg Mold Remediation Pros.
4. Quotes and Pricing
Phone consultations are free. Written quotes are based on what is visible and measurable at the time of inspection. Mold often grows inside walls, under floors, and behind finishes. If opening these areas reveals more growth or damage than the quote describes, we will explain what we found and provide a written change order before doing extra work.
5. Moisture Sources and Results
Mold grows where there is moisture. Remediation removes existing growth, but it cannot prevent new growth if the moisture source is not corrected. We will identify and report the moisture sources we find. Repairs such as plumbing, roofing, grading, or waterproofing may be outside our scope unless listed in your agreement. Any workmanship guarantee we offer is stated in your written agreement and does not cover new growth caused by uncorrected or new water problems.
6. Health Information
We are not a medical provider. Nothing on this website or said by our staff is medical advice. If you or anyone in your building has symptoms you think are related to mold, talk to a doctor.
7. Insurance Claims
We can provide photos, moisture readings, and a written scope of work to support an insurance claim. Coverage decisions are made by your insurance company. You remain responsible for payment under your agreement whether or not your insurer approves a claim.
8. Payment Terms
The payment schedule is set out in each service agreement. We may require a deposit when the agreement is signed, with the balance due when the work is complete. Accepted payment methods are listed in your agreement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Gettysburg Mold Remediation Pros's total liability for any claim arising from our services or website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises, both parties agree to first try to resolve it through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute is not resolved within 30 days, either party may pursue the remedies available under Pennsylvania law.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photos, logos, and design, is owned by Gettysburg Mold Remediation Pros or used under license. We may use photos of the work area, with no personal details, in our website and marketing unless you ask us in writing not to before work starts.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. For signed service agreements, the terms in effect at the time of signing govern that agreement.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any legal action shall be filed in the courts of Adams County, Pennsylvania, unless the law requires otherwise.
