These are the jobs that exist here, whether or not one is advertised today. They all feed the same work you can see on our mold remediation service. We keep a small crew, so vacancies come up as the work does. If one of these fits you, get in touch anyway. We would rather meet a good technician early than scramble later.

Mold Remediation Technician

Full time · Entry level, we train

The core of every job. You set up containment, run negative air and HEPA filtration, remove affected drywall and insulation, HEPA vacuum and wire brush framing, and run air movers and dehumidifiers until the moisture readings come back to normal.

  • No mold experience needed. Construction, demo, restoration, plumbing, or roofing background helps.
  • You will be trained on the IICRC S520 standard and EPA mold guidance from day one.
  • Respirator fit test and safety training happen before you are on a job site.

Lead Remediation Technician

Full time · 2+ years in remediation or restoration

You run the job. You read the moisture map, set the containment plan, direct one or two technicians, keep the photo log for the file, and decide when an area is ready for clearance testing.

  • IICRC certification, or the experience to sit the exam.
  • You are the person the homeowner talks to while the work is happening.
  • Comfortable writing up a scope and a daily log.

Mold Inspector and Estimator

Full time · Experience required

The first person a customer meets. You inspect the growth, measure the affected area, map moisture with meters and thermal imaging, find the water source, take air or surface samples when they are needed, and write the on-site estimate.

  • Background in mold inspection, home inspection, or building science.
  • You need to explain a wet wall to someone who is worried, in plain words.
  • Thermal imaging and moisture meter experience is a strong plus.

Office Coordinator

Part time · Gettysburg office

You answer the phone, take the details of what the caller is seeing, book inspections, keep the schedule tight so crews are not driving in circles, and chase lab results and insurance paperwork.

  • Calm on the phone with people who have just found mold or water in their home.
  • Organized with scheduling and follow-up.

Before You Apply

What Every Role Needs

These apply to all field roles. We would rather be straight about them now than waste your time at an interview.

  • Be 18 or older and legally able to work in the United States.
  • Hold a valid Pennsylvania driver license with a clean record.
  • Pass a background check, because you will be working inside people’s homes.
  • Be able to wear a tight fitting respirator, which means clean shaven at the seal on work days.
  • Be able to lift around 50 lb (23 kg) repeatedly, and to work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders.
  • Be able to work in a Tyvek suit in summer heat. It is hot, honest work.
  • Be willing to take a share of the on call rotation, since our phone line runs 24/7 for water damage.
